Birdhouses

At Cottage #1 I just got in more of local artist Dave's birdhouses. Some have old tin ceiling tin roofs and old forks and spoons bent for the birds to perch on........
They can either sit or be hung up and unique in their own little old way.
Funky, funky, funky just the way we like things at the shop!!!!!!!

They look great vignetted outside...... or inside too.

New at Cottage II

We were so excited to find these raw silk ribbon rose pins. They look great on anything from jackets to hats to scarves. We have them in a beautiful array of colors.

Many new clothes have recently arrived at the shop...... We've gotten in Cut Loose, Liz and Jane, and Kleen. Can't wait to see how you like them. Many more will be arriving soon......

New scarves too.....

Bright colors are really in.....

Miss Heather in a Cut Loose blue jumper.

And of course I had to try on one of the new outfits. This one is from Cut Loose and my favorite...... ( I did take this outfit home)

We also got in some more of the printed leggings.....

Picked up this in Atlanta. One side says sinner and the other side saint depending on what mood you are in that day. HeeHee......

We have a great selection of Valentine jewelry.

We also found these fun bracelets made from zippers on our recent buying trip....

And more fun jewelry.....

We are getting all the plans finalized for our French Market and Sidewalk Cafe for March 6th. I will be sending out emails about the menu for the cafe and other festivities going on that day. The menu sounds so yummy. Again there will be limited seating. The day will be lots of fun........

Boxes Came Next!!!!

After ordering in the showrooms the next thing in the progression of merchandise to the shops is truckloads of boxes. Unfortunately or fortunately when you order at the gift shows you don't realize that merchandise has to come to the shop, get unpacked, priced and displayed in the shops. These are boxes that were ordered in June in Dallas and arrived the day before we were leaving for Atlanta. Our furry children aka the guard dogs watching over the boxes.
Here is items that were unpacked and vignetted at #2 shop. We again have given it a very French vintage inspired look. Quite beautiful if I do say so....

We got in wood panels that look so old. These have beautful roses painted on them. One of our favorite new items.
The majority of the new product ended up at shop #1. The front two rooms are almost all new product. It has a very naturey theme that is so popular right now. Lots of bird pictures, arbors with birds, bird pillows, bird houses, and bird baths......

This metal butterfly bench is wonderful.....
This clock looks old but is new.

Birdbaths, birdhouses and a birdcage lamp all nestled under an arbor. And of course lots of flowers.

We just got in a shipment of new Kelly Rae Roberts prints, along with magnets and bookmarks for all you Kelly Rae collectors. Her new prints are so sweet....
New angel statuary has come in too.

Something we all need in our homes is this new metal sign.... Sorry Martha fans!!!!!!!

Atlanta Showrooms...

I thought you might enjoy a brief tour of our trip through showrooms in Atlanta. This is where it all starts before it ends up in the shops........

This darling bunny bench will be arriving at the shop at the beginning of May along with some other pieces from this booth.

These are cool letter tiles that will be at the shop hopefully next week. She displayed them on a chalkboard wall, so guess who thinks that is a good idea to do at the shop. Love this gals stuff. It is also american made, which is a good thing.....

We went nuts in this showroom. It is called Peacock Park and oh so Frenchy. They were even playing French music which really puts you in the mood to order. Don't know when it is coming but can't wait!!!!!!

Another fun showroom. We just got a large order in from them that we had ordered last June but of course they enticed us with some new products.

Love the prisms hanging from the ceiling. This showroom was packed with shop owners ordering like crazy. We got right in the middle of it and also ordered more.

Love this birdcage but haven't ordered yet. Don't you think the finches would love this for their home at the Cottage Garden?

Love this sweet cabinet with all the flower drawers.

We also got a pic of Marie Osmond, who was in a showroom talking about her new line of purses.....

Here are a few pics of Valentines' that I ordered and will be here by the weekend. It is really great fun stuff.

There is lots of new merchandise at the shops so hope you can all stop by soon to see it. I will post pics of the shops in the next few days of all the goodies arriving. We have been unpacking fools to get it into the shops...

Glendale All Aglow!

Last Saturday night was the Glitter and Glow. It is the last night all the Christmas lights are on at the park and along the streets. It brings thousands of people. Our streets are closed off and hot air balloons are lined down the middle of the streets. The pictures are a little dark, ok a lot dark but maybe you can get the idea. It really is the most magical night of the whole year.

You can bearly see the outline of the hot air balloon.

Coming soon I will post pictures of all the new merchandise that has already arrived. The shops are looking so beautiful....... Hope everyone can make it in soon. We have been working so hard.
