Debs in Mesa!

My friend of many years Debbie has started a venture in Mesa. She has collabrated with many creative women to bring together an ecletic mix of old and new.
They will be having a Girls Night Out this Friday evening July 30th from 4pm-8pm..... If you live in the East valley or just want to have a little trip, I think it will be worth it.
They will be having munchies and door prizes...

I have brought some of my Cottage Garden things and have them throughout the shop. Deb has really worked hard and I do think she has done a fantastic job.

The store is in a little mall called Power Square-2055 South Power Rd in Mesa. Just take the US60 and exit on Power road. Go right and go pass Baseline, make a left into Power Square right after Baseline.

The store will be open only on weekends. Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
She also will be planning two 10 day shows in September and November.

I have included a few pics of her place to tempt you!!!!!

If you have any questions you can contact Debbie at 602-376-0466.......

We just received an order that we placed at the Dallas Market. This pearl bracelet is embellished with a vintage look photo, too cool!!!!!!!

Our jelly watches have arrived in so many colors. This gal supplied the watch that Sandra Bullock wore in Blindside. Some have large faces and there are also small faces.

We've also gotten in a great selection of Cut Loose clothing. So great and comfortable for the summer.

This one is co cute, and is hanging in my closet at home.

Love the color of this one. Such a great turquoise color.

More jewelry from one of our favorite american designers in Dallas.

Hope you can make it in soon to see all our great new things coming in....
Just think we've made it through two summer months. YEA!!!!!!!!!!

Merci to all !!!!!

Despite the hot weather, our customer day was a rousing success!!!!!
Everyone had a great time. We set up an array of munchies in the kitchen at #2 shop and lemonade to quench the thirst.

Heather at #2 shop and Connie at #1 keep an eye on the cookie jars to make sure everyone had a chance to dip their hand in them for a discount.

Customers were showing up all day long. There was never a dull moment. Boy did they shop and shop and enjoy their discount.....

Merci to all for coming out.........

New from Pure West

We had such a ball in the Pure West booth at Dallas Market. Cheryl truly outdid herself this time. We couldn't resist her lace jackets and vests and her tapestry purses. Each one more beautiful than the next.

We also bought some of her lace scarves. The colors were so lovely.....
Each of her tapestry purses are a work of art and each one is a one of a kind. She uses textiles from France (our favorite place). OHH LA LA...

This time we even picked out some of her lace jackets made from old tablecloths and linens. Each one was lovingly pieced together by Cheryl.....

This pink one is absolutely gorgeous.....

The story goes about these fabric flowers from Cheryl. She couldn't sleep one night and came up with these flower pins made from ribbon and old bits of vintage lace.

As you can see we have a great selection of purses and jackets but they will go fast. We have already sold a few and they just arrived on Thursday.
Doesn't this vignette look so MAGNOLIA PEARL......... Or at least in a Cottage Garden sort of way!!!!!!!

All About Dallas Trip

First things first. I wanted to show you a few of the new merchandise coming to the two Cottage Gardens.
In the fall we will be getting these great wraps with big funky buttons. They came in such lucious colors.

We also found a new perfume and powder line. The scents are so wonderful. We also got powder and big powder puffs. They will make you feel so special.... And the perfume bottle is so pretty.

One of the best finds for #1 shop is from a company called Trash to Treasures. They took old garden chairs and made great wall hangings from them complete with metal roses. The wreath in the pic was made from an old bike wheel and the birdhouse is from an old oil can and tin roof. So cool and unique.

By the time we made several trips to their trailer and back to their booth we had quite a stash of stuff to be shipped and thank goodness they shipped or we would of had to figure out how to get it all home. Linda was such a sweet gal and so accomodating.... The goodies should arrive next week.

This new line is called the Naked Bee. Great lip gloss, creams etc.... Its even beating out Burts Bee creams that have been around a long time.

I usually don't give a sneak peek of our Christmas bags. But I can't resist. Just love love our new bags complete with a sweet little red bird. Too cute!!!!!
I wanted to give you a little glimpse into our 5 days in Dallas.
Thursday morning bright and early we boarded our plane to go to Dallas. Pauline was all bright eyed and bushy tailed, excited to see what new things we would be finding.....

We went straight to the show after we arrived so we didn't check into the hotel till the evening. Pauline patiently waiting while I got us checked in. We stayed in a Holiday Inn just up the road from the show.

This is looking up the atrium in the World Trade Center one of the buildings we spent time in. This one was 15 stories high.

This was our first stop every morning. And I might add the only way to start the day and be able to keep going. A couple of days we did have to get a late afternoon pick me up too....

Boy 5 days went so fast. One of our reps offered to take us to the airport since he was leaving to go back to California. We waited for him with our luggage right outside the showroom...

Arrived at the airport in pouring rain. As you know from my previous post we sat at the airport waiting for our delayed plane. Unfortunately we waited 5 hours and then were told we couldn't take off that night and had to come back in the morning. So we grabbed a taxi and went back to our hotel and they fortunately had rooms available. Got a few hours of sleep and were back at the airport at 6am.... We made it home and now we are busy getting all the merchandise out and waiting for what we ordered and had to have shipped.
We really did well on this trip and are really excited about all the new things coming in.
Let me know what you think about some of the sneek peeks. Would love to hear from you..........
