Wow!!!! our 4 days in San Francisco went sooooo fast. We filled the days with walking around downtown San Francisco, going to Chinatown, Little Italy where we ate an amazing meal on Friday night....the Ferry Building right by the Bay and watching the ferry boats, went to the gift show and Alameda flea market.... whew we did lots and had fun doing it....
Meilan and Monica and I (I was taking the picture) at the airport in Phoenix, getting ready to leave....
Our hotel room at the Parc 55 right off Union Square in the heart of downtown....
We met Wendy Addison at the vintage section of the show... She makes so many wonderful things with the german glitter glass.... we have some of her new creations at the store which I just put out today....
Monica and Cheryl Long from Pure West. She makes the wonderful bags we have in the #2 shop from the vintage french fabrics and the wonderful vintage crochet lace jackets.... we have a ball there... it was soooo huge that it was overwhelming.... didn't know where to go first....
Waiting for our cab at the end of the day at Alameda....
Our great taxi driver Solomon who took us in the wee hours of the morning and came back to pick us up in the late afternoon....
We had to cram the back of the taxi with all our wonderful treasures, thank goodness he drove a suv.....
Toasting our last night in San Francisco.... We stumbled upon a very quaint restaurant not to far from our hotel.... the food and wine was excellent... and come to find out it is in the 2nd oldest building in San Francisco...
On Monday we went back to the gift show and met up with Linda from My Mother's buttons.... we have carried her lovely bracelets and necklaces in the shop for years....
Her booth filled with so many wonderful treasures...
Ahhh time to go... the suitcases all lined up with lots of treasures....
At finally at the airport waiting for our plane.... That's Meilan under her scarf trying to take a quite cat nap before we boarded the plane.... she was all pooped out....
One of our great finds in Alameda was a man who took old ceiling tin and made chalkboards out of them... they are in the shop ready to be snapped up....
He also made these great signs out of the old ceiling tin.....
Not a good picture but here are some of the Wendy Addison creations I brought home and was pricing today.... glittery butterflys and birds... so beautiful....
I will post more pictures soon, but here is a little snippet of our trip....
