Attention Garden Girls!

On my trip to Dallas for the gift show I happened upon an amazing way of displaying flowers.   You start with a 12" pot and you place the stand into it and fill the pot halfway with rocks to help stablize it... next you slide at an angle a 10" pot and fill it with rocks a quarter of the way, then you slide a 8" pot and then another 8" pot and lastly a 6" pot.... and now you can either fill the pots with soil and real plants or as we did it at the cottage garden we filled with moss and silk plants and flowers.... it is so cool!!!!!!   There is also a table top version that uses a 8" pot and 2 6" pots....  we have everything you need to create this at #1 shop....  so hope to see you soon....it will be a great addition to any garden...

Edit:  After I posted about the Dallas trip and the plant stand on the blog, I received an e-mail from Nancy Shelton telling me that she designed the plant stand and holds a patent on the design.  I have therefore edited the blog post to reflect this new information and remove any possible inaccuracies.



Customer Appreciation Day!

Well it is time for our Customer Appreciaton Day!  The cookie jar is waiting for all you gals to come dip into it and pull out your discount for the day.....

Great Summer clothing at #2 shop!

We showed off all our new summer clothing at our Summer trunk show last Thursday night the gals who attended just loved all the soft light fabrics that are just right for our very warm summer days here in Arizona.... For those of you who couldn't make it here is a sampling of some of the new clothing....
Always a favorite is our Comfy usa clothes.  The fabric is so whisper soft and comfortable..... This top is in a wonderful lime green pin stripe....

 The Cut Loose clothes are so great for summer too.  This light turquoise sleeveless top is in a whispy fabric...

 Of course, we all love Chalet clothing... this is a cowl neck burn out tunic or dress over leggings.... this fabric is just so soft....

 This fun top is from Mystree and is over a pair of Just Jill lime cream crop pants... these pants with the yoga top is a favorite with our customers...

 We just showed our new line Scrapbook Originals, and it is made in the USA... These clothes are sooooo cute... and the fabrics again are so wonderful..... it has such great details....

 Another new clothing line is Kristie, and again great for the summer days... this adorable top is over our ever so popular scooter pants from Tulip.....

 This crisp blue top is from Kleen and is over a pair of crops from Jag Jeans.... great look for the summer....

 This is one of my favorite outfits that Meilan put together.... The lace top is from Chalet and the shorts with a yoga top is from Cut Loose.... and there is a pink cami underneath, love the look.

 This flowy top is from Blu Pepper's Perch collection.... so summery.......

 My favorite outfit is this one..... the top is from Scrapbook originals and the poplin crop pants are from LA Blend.... underneath the top is a cap sleeve lace tee.... the pants have sooo many fun details.....
