Happy Birthday Caleb!

Today we celebrated my grandson Caleb's 1st birthday.  It was quite the celebration and what better a theme than Under Construction, just because this little boy is all boy.... he LOVES tools of any kind... LOVES helping daddy mow the lawn and everything else little boys loves....

 His cake had bulldozers and dump trucks on them, and the crumbled cake pieces looked like dirt.... the bulldozer on top looks like it dug a big hole.....

 Even the food was labeled with construction lingo.... all the chips, pretzels, cheetos were labeled "nuts and bolts"

 The bread said roofing and foundation, the condiments said morter....

 The cheese was the drywall.... too too cute!!!!!

 The outside of the house had caution tape strung all around and there was anything you can think of to do with a construction site.....

 The sandbox in the back yard said kids at work!!!!

Potting shed room

Before the unveiling of our potting shed room, I had to share with you another custom order from Laura Van.... This amazing piece is so cool.... the gal we had it made for wanted a big and chunky heart on the front of the mirror and rhinestones on all the corners, Laura did a most excellent job of achieving those wishes.....

 And now here is the new potting shed room..... flowers everywhere you look....

 Eggs in little bags peeking out of a pot....

 Bags of moss.... right now we have spanish moss tinted a beautiful charteruse green, reindeer moss, and sheet moss....

 Shelves filled with birdhouses, green topiary balls and of course birds....

 A nest spray over the doorway....

 A hummingbird feeder and the coolest wall lamps that look like upside metal pots....

 Little birds hovering over the flowers.....

And the bluebird of happiness welcoming you into the room....  we are sooooo happy the way the room turned out.... hope to see you soon so you can enjoy brousing the room... it will make you feel so happy....

Yard Sale Day!

Well we had so many gals brave the heat to make our annual yard sale a big success!!!!! Thank you to all who came out and helped us get rid of many tarnished treasures.... it was a blast in more ways than one to see you all have so much fun picking out the many bargains... We cleaned out the back house and now it is ready to start putting the Christmas stock back there when it starts arriving in a little over a month..... can you believe it!

 There's Monica getting ready for the day.... we had sunscreen, mister bottle to spray each other with cold water and lots and lots of water.... and we put the mindset in our head that it wasn't that HOT!... oh sure!

 10am and people started arriving...

At least the trees in the driveway provided a little shade....

Up next is GIRLS NIGHT OUT! Don't forget May 18th... 5pm - 9pm..... it is sooooo much fun... and we are getting in some great new merchandise.... and wait till you see what we have in mind to do to the front yard at #2..... ahhhhh peaked your curiosity huh!

Yard Sale Time!

It's time for our annual yard sale in Catlin Court shops.... Saturday April 21st from 10am - 5pm.... Our yard sale will be set in the driveway at #2 shop.... we will have many old and tarnished treasures from both shops at 50% to 75% off...

Come on over for some great bargains.... and remember CASH ONLY!

New Display at shop #1

We just got the coolest display for #1 shop. We have great plans for the back room that we just could never get a good handle on what to do with this odd room.. Small and low ceiling etc, etc..... then, Monica and I spotted this great display in one of my catalogs and low and behold it turned out to be just what the little room needed.... we have more plans for the room but this is just the beginning of the transition.... It is two hinged ladders the most wonderful shade of green with 2 creamy white planks for shelves.... and 1, 2, 3 we had it full and brimming over with so many wonderful things from throughout the shop....


Birdhouses, pots, jars, bunnies, birds, and lots of clover bunches, our favorite decorating vine.....

Monica wrapped the nest vine around the side of the ladder....

A handmade pot with sweet little blue eggs nestled in it....

The really awesome glass birdbath is just right at home under the ladder....

Just absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Scarves and Purses!

Scarves are exploding at the #2 shop.... We have sweet little flowery scarves with a little flower, for the unbelievable price of $8.95... we are selling these like crazy....

The soft flowy flowery scarves like so great with all the new spring clothing....

And!!!!! the newest craze is scarves with charms attached... OMG can't keep them in stock...

We even have leopard print scarves....

Here is a charm scarf in a wonderful melon color, which is such a hot color for spring.

We also just got in more of Flipped Bird purses from Marcie.. our local artist. They are so great with all the new clothing too! Lots of fun patterns.

Yea Spring is here and so much fun...
