New Clothes!

Wow  we are in the middle of such a busy season with Christmas just a couple of weeks away but just had to show you a few outfits Meilan put together that would be great to wear for a casual Christmas party or for Christmas day.....

 

This great sweater tunic and rayon pants from CMC is so cozy and yet so stylist and cute.... the tunic also comes in an eggplant color....top it off with a shimmery scarf and you are ready for a fun evening.....

 

 Our company Kleen makes such sweet clothes and they are quite the hit at the shop.... the pants have little fabric knots that have the Asian influence.... and the jacket has such a cute plaquet in the back....

 Love this new Cut Loose cowl neck tunic in a beautiful silvery jacquard soft fabric.... it also comes in a lovely lavendar shade.... feels so good on....

 For those boho girls we have we have this fun floral skirt with a wide band of lace along the bottom..... Meilan put a CMC cowl neck blouse in chocolate brown on top and one of our very popular charm scarves....

 Just got this in yesterday it is sooooo cute and fun.... you know how we all love polka dots, because when we get anything in polka dots it just doesn't last very long.  Anyway this lightweight coat is just too fun!!!!

 And this coat from Janska sold out and we just got these back in too.... the Audrey coat is so fun and just the right weight for Phoenix.... and yes it is suppose to cool down this coming week.  yah!!!! we can start wearing coats and boots.....

 This little two piece top is just the perfect party top.... you can't see it but at the bottom there are three rows of black lace and the fabric is soft and shimmery.....

Fun Idea!

We just got in our bedspring wreaths made in Texas... we just keep selling out of these because they are so unique!!!!... We decorated them for Christmas and they have turned out so cute....Even fun to string our little led lights through them ....and yes they are really made from old bedsprings.....we have small, medium and large ones in stock right now but don't know how long they will last... call if you want us to hold one for you or even decorate it for you....

 They look so cool even without anything on them....

 On the porch we decorated an old step ladder and it makes such a fun statement....

 Candy cane sign and garland on an old pot holder.....

 A birdbath with a snowman and our little led lights that run on 3 AA batteries so they can be popped anywhere... a wire clouche covers the little winter scene....

 Even decorated a hanging basket with garland wound inside basket and piled christmas balls in the middle....

 This beautiful bed spring wreath is hanging behind the check out counter on an old door.... I'm telling you these wreaths are so much fun to decorate.... your imagination will go wild.....

Don't forget we have extended hours for the next 3 weekends... Friday and Saturday nights open till 10pm.... we have so many wonderful ideas for Christmas presents and decorating.....

Oh Christmastime!!!!!

Well we made it through our first Glendale Glitters weekend and what a weekend it was.... everywhere you looked there were lights and decorations and lots of people....

 

Here are a few more pictures of #1 shop and all the sparklys that you will behold when you walk in the door....

 

 

 

  This vignette is so great becuase we took a wire flat birdcage and decorated it for the season....

 Every cupboard was filled with trees or snowmen or birds or angels and lots of battery operated candles which are so great because you won't have to worry about blowing out the flame...they are on timers....

Christmas is Just About Here!

 

Or at least at the shop.... we have been decorating up a storm and the shop is looking better and better as we get more ornaments on the trees and garlands.....

 

Love these beautiful paper flowers on this flocked tree.....

 

 I am such a nut for snowman so you will see them peeking out from various nooks and crannies.... and we have the popular blocks again.... boy they sold out so fast last year....

 

 This little tree is loaded with silver mercury glass ornaments and red mercury glass birds....

 

 Sweet little vignette with santa board and the little box of the 25 days of Christmas.... you can tuck a little something in the tiny drawers and someone will have a sweet little gift all December long....

 Oh wow.... love these pokes with big poofs on the end.... we arranged them in a beautiful red bottle....

 Did I tell you I just love snowmen.....

 This little felt mouse is the cutest little thing....

 Oh my got Debbie to stand still long enough for me to snap her picture before she was off to her next task.....

 And Monica still had enough energy to give me a smile and then up the ladder she went to do more vignetting.....

Well girls here are a few more sneak peeks but it is just so unbelievable inside the shop!  Sooooo hope to see you on Friday Night November 9th..... it is going to be magnificent by then......can't wait to see what you think!!!!!!

A Little Teaser of Christmas!

 

Oh my the little elves have been busy this week at #1 shop.... Clearing out all the everyday home and garden decor and replacing it with the wonders of Christmas..... it is starting to look alot like Christmas or at least right as you walk in the front door.  The elves still have alot of decorating and vignetting ahead of them before our CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE on Friday night November 9th.....

 

We started clearing out the rooms last Monday .....

 And then the garlands and trees were put into place.....

 And then the decorating started......

 Love this new tree that is nestled in an urn.... it is prelit and tucks into any corner....

 These sweet little owls are flying off the tree quicker than Santa's sleigh.....

 Well this is just a little teaser and I will keep you posted as we add more and more to the shop....

Just a reminder to keep November 9th open to come see how beautiful the shop has become with all the wonders of Christmas... we will be open all day but the fun starts at 5pm and we will stay open till 9pm.... and for added fun we will be also having a fashion show at #2 shop.... and of course lots of munchies and refreshments.....

 

FRONT PORCH FESTIVAL

 

 

Well the summer is finally over.... and our wonderful Fall season is upon us and that means all the fun of being able to come shopping and walk around our wonderful little quaint shopping area without sweating is here....

The kick off of the season of events is coming this Saturday starting with Front Porch Festival.... we will be having Ian playing bluegrass music on his banjo and guitar on the porch of #1 shop.... both of my shops will be participating in the recipe give a way...so as you are shopping in Catlin Court pick up a recipe and when you have them all come to #2 shop and assemble them..... we will be having a few of the venders that were in our side yard for French Market showing their wares again....

At 5:30pm we will be hosting a Fall clothing fashion show in front of #2 shop so grab a chair and a refreshment and enjoy the show.... we will be featuring some of our customers again as our models....and we will stay open till 8pm so you can shop after the show at #2 shop....

Becky has been a busy girl!!!!

One of our most favorite artist Becky has been a busy girl and we were so excited when a little box was delivered to #2 shop the other day.... and there in between all these pieces of tissue were amazing necklaces all handcrafted by her....

    Meilan just had to try them all on so I grabbed the camera started to snap some pictures.                                                                                                                                                  

 The colors in the pottery and chine pieces are just absolutely amazing.... and to think they are all from vintage china pieces..... she must of scored the mother lode of china flowers and roses and large vintage rhinestones because the 6 necklaces we got are just covered with them.... simply amazing........

 This little sweetie has an etched glass prism hanging from a cluster of china flowers.... and there is that honking vintage rhinestone......

 sweet and beautiful!!!!!

 My personal favorite is this with all the vibrant colors that are in........

 We also have the Darling purses from London..... The metal bird motif on some of them is so cool.....and all the scalloped edges had such a sweet accent.....

 Love this one with a short handle and a long handle and the big knobby closure.... and we have been doing so well with this collection that more are on the way..... yah!!!!!
