A Little Teaser of Christmas!

 

Oh my the little elves have been busy this week at #1 shop.... Clearing out all the everyday home and garden decor and replacing it with the wonders of Christmas..... it is starting to look alot like Christmas or at least right as you walk in the front door.  The elves still have alot of decorating and vignetting ahead of them before our CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE on Friday night November 9th.....

 

We started clearing out the rooms last Monday .....

 And then the garlands and trees were put into place.....

 And then the decorating started......

 Love this new tree that is nestled in an urn.... it is prelit and tucks into any corner....

 These sweet little owls are flying off the tree quicker than Santa's sleigh.....

 Well this is just a little teaser and I will keep you posted as we add more and more to the shop....

Just a reminder to keep November 9th open to come see how beautiful the shop has become with all the wonders of Christmas... we will be open all day but the fun starts at 5pm and we will stay open till 9pm.... and for added fun we will be also having a fashion show at #2 shop.... and of course lots of munchies and refreshments.....

 

FRONT PORCH FESTIVAL

 

 

Well the summer is finally over.... and our wonderful Fall season is upon us and that means all the fun of being able to come shopping and walk around our wonderful little quaint shopping area without sweating is here....

The kick off of the season of events is coming this Saturday starting with Front Porch Festival.... we will be having Ian playing bluegrass music on his banjo and guitar on the porch of #1 shop.... both of my shops will be participating in the recipe give a way...so as you are shopping in Catlin Court pick up a recipe and when you have them all come to #2 shop and assemble them..... we will be having a few of the venders that were in our side yard for French Market showing their wares again....

At 5:30pm we will be hosting a Fall clothing fashion show in front of #2 shop so grab a chair and a refreshment and enjoy the show.... we will be featuring some of our customers again as our models....and we will stay open till 8pm so you can shop after the show at #2 shop....

Becky has been a busy girl!!!!

One of our most favorite artist Becky has been a busy girl and we were so excited when a little box was delivered to #2 shop the other day.... and there in between all these pieces of tissue were amazing necklaces all handcrafted by her....

    Meilan just had to try them all on so I grabbed the camera started to snap some pictures.                                                                                                                                                  

 The colors in the pottery and chine pieces are just absolutely amazing.... and to think they are all from vintage china pieces..... she must of scored the mother lode of china flowers and roses and large vintage rhinestones because the 6 necklaces we got are just covered with them.... simply amazing........

 This little sweetie has an etched glass prism hanging from a cluster of china flowers.... and there is that honking vintage rhinestone......

 sweet and beautiful!!!!!

 My personal favorite is this with all the vibrant colors that are in........

 We also have the Darling purses from London..... The metal bird motif on some of them is so cool.....and all the scalloped edges had such a sweet accent.....

 Love this one with a short handle and a long handle and the big knobby closure.... and we have been doing so well with this collection that more are on the way..... yah!!!!!

Ian will be playing his banjo on the porch at #1 shop so come on over and sit and tap your feet to his great bluegrass music.... and at #2 shop at 5:30pm we will be having our Fall fashion show in the front of the shop... so come in and grab some refreshments and take a seat to see all the new fashions for fall.... and again our models will be some of our customers.....

A Sneek Peek!

Just a sneek peek at a few of the outfits Meilan and I put together today.... So many beautiful fabrics and colors just perfect for our Arizona Fall season....

 

 Meanwhile at #1 shop Monica and I hung this crib size bedspring and quickly embellished it with clusters of fall berries, lights and bouncy fall leaves.... it is just the crowning touch in our fall potting shed room....

 Added our sweet mini pumpkins inside of the twiggy hanging acorn.... Monica and I are just brimming over with so many ideas to help you with your fall and Halloween decorating.... just come on over and pick our brains we will be glad to help you....!!!!!

 After shopping for all your new fall outfits at #2 shop and getting your decorating tips from #1 shop stop in at Papa Ed's Ice Cream Parlor next door to #1 shop and enjoy a bowl of her delicious Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream that she will feature for our Fall trunk show....(don't like pumpkin ice cream, she has many other flavors too and she is offering it to you for 50% off just for Friday night, because she likes you all sooooo much and knows how exhausting shopping can be.....

The Porch all decked out for Fall!

 

The weather is cooling down so we took advantage of that to decorate the porch at #1 shop.  All the colors for spring have been replaced with blacks and oranges..... the wreath on the front door is welcoming you into the new season....

 This sweet little crow with her witches hat on is nestled in fall flowers on the step as you enter the porch!

 Fall leaves and foliage has been tucked into our burlap curtains....

 And the arbor is ablaze with fall leaves and berries..... the wonderful twig acorns hanging are a wonderful accent....too!

 Every pot that once had geraniums, pink and purple flowers are now all filled with fall flowers.....

 

 
 Love this wall basket with the berries and a brown and green velvet pumpkin.

 Even this zinc wire bird cage is turned into fall with a fluffy black owl and pumpkin inside.....

This little bird is nesting in a wreath a little pumpkins.....

 Even the scottie dog has a touch of fall.....

 You can even decorate a metal bird bath for the fall season.....

And as you all know "the witch is in"

Laura Van Beauties!!!!!!

Laura Van has been just working her little heart out creating new frames, boxes and an amazing mirror!!!!!  Yah Laura we absolutely love all your amazing creations!!!!

 This sweet frame has a Wendy Addison german silver glitter glass egg in a nest nestled at the bottom.....

 What a great vignette this would make in your house!!!!!

 Here is an absolutely adorable box with a nest atop it!!!!

Another great vignette of frames of all sizes.....

 Wonderful silver candlesticks just dripping with clear glass beads and prisms.....

 So sweet!!!!!!

 

 
And here it is the most amazing piece of all..... this wonderful mirror with a BIG chunky heart in the middle and embellished with metal corners and flowers.....  Did I mention how much we love love love Laura Van...... each piece so unique and one of a kind.....
