Womans Club Fashion Show!

Well before I share the photos from our fashion show at the Womans Club last Thursday night, I just had to share a photo from February 11th.... Teresa, Amy and Cindy along with the birthday girl Cheryl decided to dress up for the occasion and spend the day shopping in the Catlin Court shops.... they were such a hoot that I just had to snap a photo of them... girls come see us again it was a blast! The birthday girl is the one with the pink boas on.

We just got in another shipment of our Oka B ballet flats... they have been so popular and the new ones for spring are so cute embellished with tiny flowers....

Denise from Delphina Hair Salon over on Palmaire (where I get my hair done too) put on a fun evening for some gals last Thursday night and she asked us to be part of it and entertain the ladies with a fashion show.... of course we said yes.... and we all had so much fun.

Paris in Spring!

Ahhhhhh! Spring is in the air and at Catlin Court it is Paris in Spring time again.... Join us on March 3rd from 10am - 6pm for a day filled with everything Frenchy.... We will again be having our sidewalk cafe outside of #2 shop and we have a few reservation spots left so call us for details of what we will be serving for lunch.... and while you are enjoying lunch we will be having a fashion show featuring all the spring lines of clothing and accessories from #2 shop....our wonderful vendors will be in the side yard for our French Market and the French mime will be strolling our streets..... more details to follow but for now mark your calendars and hope to see you then.... call 623-847-3232 if you have any questions....

New Local Jewelry Artist!

At #2 shop we have a new jewelry artist named Janice.... She has made these beautiful necklaces with a pendant with whatever words your imagination can think of.... we picked these sweet necklaces and they are now available at the shop.... come pick one out or give us a custom order for her.....

They are embellished with old rhinestones or sweet little hearts or flowers also handmade.....

She also does adoreable bracelets.... Janice your work is so wonderful and we are glad to have you as part of the Cottage....

New Clothes at #2 shop!

We are getting in so many new clothes we just can't stand it.... they are all so darn cute.... check out a few new outfits Meilan put together....

Yea! we got in the Just Jill pants with the yoga top.... so comfortable.....

And Liza Kim jewelry has finally arrived so beautiful....

And a great eggplant colored jacket from Neon Buddha, looking great over the Just Jill pants.....

And we are having a sale on fall and winter to make room for all the new wonderful clothes....

Check out the walls!

Yea! we finally started covering the dull pink walls at #1 shop with sage green burlap... Monica just stapled her little heart out getting it onto the walls... but the results were so fantastic.... we absolutely love the wall the check out room turned out... and everything we are hanging on the burlap looks so absolutely wonderful....

We just got in these fabric lanterns and they look so fantabously ( don't know if thats a real word but it is at the cottage garden) hanging over the check out counter.....with the burlap in the background....

We have many other great ideas for transforming the #1 shop so hope you can check it out soon.

Findings from Atlanta!

Well back from Atlanta and brought home so many wonderful finds... Loved this gals booth and went back 3 times to keep buying more... Everything is done with vintage pieces... and her prices are amazing!
Here is her rosette necklace made with vintage fabrics and embellished with a little brooche or buttons....

These sweet necklaces have tiny keys or some little bauble on them....

Loved these watch cases with vintage paper and little tiny buttons inside... hanging from a suede ribbon....

Sweet little bracelets too....

Necklaces with lots of findings on them.....

And! we got in these burlap boards that were just screaming to have all our special one of a kind jewelry hanging from them.....

Meilan and I just had to try on our new Tulip tunics that just arrived.... we love Tulip!!!!!!!

What's New!

Well Christmas is over and the new year is off and running.... wow its like the last few months went by like a blur.... and now we are busily cleaning up the leftover Christmas and sprucing up for Spring.... #1 shop is just starting to look like Spring is busting out all over and #2 shop is anxiously waiting for all the spring apparel to arrive..... yea soon!

We just love burlap and just had to create something with it inside #2 shop.... so it became a backdrop curtain for our wonderful Peacock Park paper french lanterns..... smack dab right in the middle of the room....

You all remember Minnie who use to work at #2 shop.... well she is so talented in many ways... including being a wonderful seamstress... she has created these amazing bags.... and they are now at the shop... pictures just don't do them justice... they are each a one of a kind bag and just as gorgeous on the inside... come on by and take a look.... and I know you will not be able to resist taking one home... they are big and roomy and you can use them for just about anything you can think of... down to what a great bag to go to market with you will be the envy of everyone at Sprouts!

We also just got in from Oka B shoes their ballet flats shoes... they are so adorable beyond words...

Well lots of new things arriving at both shops and lots of fun things in store for all this year....
