New From Dallas!

The bags are unpacked and all the new jewelry is in #2 shop.....
The necklaces below are from a new vendor we found, there are so many little interesting baubles on them.

We also found rhinestone initals that are only $5.95. I'll take one for all my friends. Great Valentine present.......

Our manequin is all decked out in her vintage tutu.... Pink of course.

These are so great satin fabric roses in pin clip or as a headband.

These scarves are so soft like a whiper. Great for Spring.

I love this turqoise necklace with a little bit of bling.

And this big flower necklace is just plain wonderful.....

Dallas Market Trip

We just got back from our buying and ordering market in Dallas, Texas. Really wanted to go to Atlanta's market but with the BCS game here in Glendale, all the Auburn people were going home the day we wanted to leave and there were no plane tickets available, so off we went to the next best place. Glad we went because we found really great Christmas items for this years season. And lots of other wonderful things that will be arriving soon.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel which just had a multi million dollar renovation.

The lobby was absolutely gorgeous.

This was the atrium and this floating sculpture was absolutely mesmerizing.

I ordered almost every ornament from this tree in one of my favorite showrooms, Raz Imports.

I loved the idea of a sideways door on the wall. This showroom had some wonderful vignettes.

Off We Go!!!!

The many pallets of boxes are opened and vignetted around the stores..... The shop looked so empty with Christmas gone but NOT forgotten..... SOOOOOOOO! Heather and I are off to Dallas to order Christmas for this year. Yes we order this far in advance so we get the best selection. The shops will be open and Meilan, Sandra and Connie will be there to help you all.

Can't wait to see what is new and exciting at market..... Fill you all in as soon as we get back.

Glow Night

Even though I have participated in the Glitter and Glow Night for 13 years I am still in awe of how beautiful it is to see all the hot air balloons lining the streets of downtown Glendale. Saturday night was the last night the Christmas lights were on at the park two blocks from the shops...

There were just crowds and crowds of people.

This gal traveled all the way from Australia and bought one of our scarves.....

Even though we were there till 11pm Meilan was still all smiles.......

This guy was probably saying there goes a balloon lighting up!!!!!!
It was such a great evening in downtown Glendale, the weather was perfect and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Out with the old-in with the new!

Sandra and I have cleaned out the front bedroom of all the Christmas and have been busily working on getting the first shipment of all the new Spring goodies unpacked and displayed....... There is alot of beautiful items for Spring bright colors are whats really making the front room pop!!!!!

We even did a wall totally devoted to many birdie pictures..... birds are still the in thing....

While Sandra and I have been busy decorating #1 shop, Meilan has been waving her magic decorating wand at #2 shop, I will give you a peak in the next couple of days......

BUT WE WILL BE OPEN AT OUR NORMAL TIME OF 10AM JUST IN CASE YOU WANT TO SHOP BEFORE THE CROWDS START COMING....IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NIGHT OF THE YEAR AND I HOPE ALL OF YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT TO GLENDALE TO BEHOLD THE SIGHT..... WE SHOULD HAVE A COUPLE OF HOT AIR BALLOONS IN FRONT THE COTTAGE GARDEN SHOPS......
